Location: About 0.5nm E from Lymington town centre
Period of operation: From 1999(?) to –
NOTES: Looking back over Google Earth pictures I could find no sign of a marked helipad. And then, in 1999, this picture appeared. I cannot believe that these markings on the south end of the site really are helipads - but they are exactly what I might expect to find when looking for one.
Is it just possible that they were hosting a conference or wedding where several helicopter arrivals were expected?
