ERDDIG PARK: WW2 military airstrip?


NOTES: All I have found is just a mention of ERDIGG being used as an airstrip. Could anybody kindly offer more advice?

This said, later on a bit more research shows that in the run-up to D-Day the U S Army had a camp in Erdigg Park and I suspect they would almost certainly have been visits by Piper L-4s and Stinson L-5s.
