Note:  The first three pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©. The area view is from my Google Earth © derived database.

Location:  Just N of Somerton village, 3nm S of Street town centre and 6nm NW of RNAS YEOVILTON

Period of operation:  Not known exactly. No sign in 2010 and appearing to have reverted to agriculture c.2021?

Runway:  12/30   270   grass

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. Although seeming to be fairly short-lived, a bespoke hangar for one aircraft is clearly visible in the pictures above. If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated.

It appears the X'Air 133(1) G-CCGR was based here from July 2013 until November 2017. Then de-registered.
