Faircross Farm

FAIRCROSS FARM: Private airstrip

Location: Just SW of Hermitage, E of the B4009, roughly 4nm NE of Newbury town centre

Period of operation: ?

Runway:  02/20   500   grass

NOTES: A look at the location on Google Earth in 2018, appears to show no obvious sign of a prepared strip - not that one is needed. If anybody can kindly other advice about this airstrip, this will be much appreciated.

And of course I have no idea when this strip was operational. Once a strip falls into disuse, over the years the character of the location can quite quickly change.
