Note:  The three aircraft in the fourth picture were all de Havilland DH60 Moths, a design which was a huge success with private owners and flying clubs.

G-EBYK was a DH60X Moth, and G-AAAI and G-AAEP were both DH60G Cirrus Moths.

NOTES:  In the 1920s Marshall's were well established in the auto trade, and clearly saw the potential for getting involved in aviation. They did of course become very successful in this endeavour. They also realised, as the storm clouds over Europe presaged another major war, that their original aerodrome would prove inadequate, and purchased land just to the SE to construct a much larger facility. This being opened as TEVERSHAM in October 1938.

Presumably the FEN DITTON aerodrome stayed operational until the TEVERSHAM site opened?

Venue (20th June 1935) for Alan Cobham’s Tour of the UK.
