Location: Just SSE of Leckhampstead, W of the B4494, about 5nm WNW of Newbury

Period of operation:  2000s only (?) to -

Runway:  05/23   560   grass

Note:  The 2003 picture above shows the main runway being:  07/25   620   grass

NOTES: The initial Info sources were the AAIB reports EW/G2008/02/03, EW/2010/08/21 and EW/G2010/06/39. It appears the Avid Speedwing G-RAFV was based here around these dates.

An LAA Fly-in was planned for the 2nd August 2014.

A later AAIB report EW/G2014/09/14 appears to indicate that the CZAW Sportcruiser G-OCRZ was based here.

In recent years the airstrip has its own website.
