Five Oak Green

FIVE OAK GREEN: Temporary flying site?

Early aircraft type at Five Oak Green
Early aircraft type at Five Oak Green

NOTES: In his book Flying and Ballooning John Fabb has a photograph captioned, “A Bristol ‘box kite’ at Five Oak Green, Tonbridge, Kent.” Looking at the photograph shows the aircraft was not, in my opinion, a Bristol Boxkite, but perhaps more probably a Short-Wright design?

The main reason being that this aircraft has two propellers, a design favoured by the Wright brothers, but, as far as I am aware, the Bristol Boxkite only had one? If anybody can kindly offer advice this will be most welcome.
