NOTES: This is just one example of a helipad, one of very many, that is situated on or close to industrial and/or commercial premises. These sites are normally not controlled or regulated in any way, even though they might be frequently used.

Info source AAIB report EW/G2011/07/20. This is an interesting account of a commercial pilot being instructed to land elsewhere on the site when the normal landing area was blocked. And it didn’t go, according to plan B, as well as might be expected.
