Flamborough

Note: This map only shows a rough position for Flamborough within the UK. I have selected this location because it appears to offer the most sheltered bay in this area. However, if I am mistaken, I will welcome advice regarding the correct location.

FLAMBOROUGH: Military seaplane re-fuelling station

Military user: RAF  (Royal Air Force)

Location: Presumably just S of Flamborough, roughly 3nm ENE of Bridlington?

Period of operation: 1918

NOTES: Used by RAF seaplanes in transit along the east coast.
