Fort Augustus
Note: Some time ago I made this remark: "This map only gives a position for Fort Augustus within the UK. If anybody could kindly provide a more exact location for this airstrip, this advice will be most welcome."
In May 2017 I was kindly contacted by Tom (see comments below) who gives the exact coordinates. This said, although close enough for this 'Guide' I cannot be certain that the location is exactly correct due to the lack of features on Google maps.
FORT AUGUSTUS: Private airstrip (Aka GLENDOE)

Location: On the Glendoe Estate roughly 1+nm SSE of Fort Augustus
Runway: 04/22 660 grass
NOTES: The initial info source was the AAIB report EW/G2014/06/12.
What appears very interesting is that the pilot, experiencing a rough running engine in his Vans RV-7 in this area, selected a diversion on his GPS which came up with a location, on which he safely landed. It was the take-off which went pear-shaped.
It also appears that the Cessna 182T Skylane, N1424C, makes visits to this airstrip.
