Advanced Landing Ground:  1916 to 1917

RAF  (Royal Air Force) Night Landing Ground

90 [Home Defence] Sqdn   1918 to 1919  (Avro 504, Royal Aircraft Factory F.E.2b, Sopwith Pup and later Avro 504K)
Note: I have no idea which of these types might have used FREISTON. Any advice will be most welcome.

RAF/RNAS flight training school (Avro 504Bs) 1917 to 1920
 

Location: S of A52, about 3nm E of Boston town centre

Period of operation: 1916 to 1920
 

Site area: Initially 90 acres   457 x 457     (Later this site was enlarged twice)
