Note: This map only shows the position of Gargunnock village within the UK. So far any attempt to pin the location down further has failed. If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.



GARGUNNOCK: Military Landing Ground    (Also known as KINCAIRN)

Military user: RFC  (Royal Flying Corps)

77 [Home Defence] Sqdn    (Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2 and B.E.12 types)

 

Location: In/near Gargunnock, S of the A811, about 5nm W of Stirling

Period of operation: 1916 to 1917
