CAMP KERALA is very much within the Festival site. The 'Pylle' picture might well be a figment of my imagination, but, several sites have been opened in recent years for major stars to stay nearby in luxury accommodation. Could this be one of them?

NOTES:  Since this festival opened in 1970, originally called the Piltdown Festival, it has become a major global event. Once it got into its stride, and causing a major disaster in the area, virtually closing the region down with traffic chaos for a week or more, the major stars and those who could afford it, started arriving by helicopter - and still do of course.

Having spent several hours trying to pinpoint and illustrate helipads and/or helicopter landing areas in and around the Festival site, I must admit to failing dismally. But, this said, trawling through the mass of information available is certainly an eye-opener.
