Location: N of Goring Lane, just ESE of Burghfield Common and roughly 5nm SSW of Reading town centre
Period of operation: 2021 to -
Runway: 06/24 700 grass
Note: There is what may well be a taxiway at the western end, but which I suppose could also act as a 07/25 runway extension of about 150m.
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for pointing out this location. If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be much appreciated. Pictures are of course always welcome.
This new airstrip is rather unusual these days, simply because it appears to be ideal for a fairly serious GA type, (or types), rather than ultralight and microlight types.
