Godshill

Note: As you can see, I have very little information regarding this airstrip. This map only gives a position for Godshill within the UK.

GODSHILL: Military airstrip/airfield

Military user: USAAF

Location: In/near Godshill on the B3078, about 1.5nm E of the A338, roughly 5.5nm N to NNE of Ringwood

Period of operation: Late WW2 only?

NOTES: Was this probably the FORDINGBRIDGE airstrip/airfield others refer to? I think it’s very likely? If anybody can kindly offer more information, this advice will be much appreciated.
