Note: This map is only my guess as to the location, but, it seems unlikely they would have ignored the relative safety afforded by this harbour? Could anybody kindly confirm this idea is correct?

GRANTON: Military seaplane site

(Sub-station to DUNDEE Seaplane Station)

Military user: Royal Naval Air Service

Location: About 1.5 to 2nm NW of Edinburgh city centre

Period of operation: 1914 (November to December only?)
