Operated by:  China Gateway International

Location: Just S of the B2011, roughly 2nm W of Dover town centre

NOTES: This helipad was still in use in 2015 but it appears it was probably established when the site belonged to the construction company building the Channel tunnel. Apart from having hutted accommodation built on terraces here for workers engaged on the tunnel project, the large Georgian farmhouse, (until 2016 an excellent B&B), served as the offices. Construction of the tunnel commenced in 1988 so it is conceivable that the helipad was laid out shortly after? The site was sold for housing development in 2016.
