They certainly illustrate one of the aspects I used to love when flying into 'farm' strips - part of the challenge - which is how quickly, even season by season, the appearance can change quite considerably. A change of crop in the surrounding fields can dramatically alter the 'picture' too.

Location:  S of the A18, just E of Great Limber, roughly 3nm ESE of HUMBERSIDE airport

Period of operation:  ? until sometime between 2009 and 2017

Runway:   03/21   460   grass

NOTES: The first mention of GREAT LIMBER airstrip I had found was listed in YORKSHIRE, but it does appear to have a Doncaster postcode - DN37 8JZ. It is not often realised that postcodes quite often do not relate to Counties.

If anybody can kindly offer more advice and information, this will be much appreciated.
