Location: W of the A429, just SW of Barford and roughly 5nm SW of Royal Leamington Spa town centre

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to circa 2015?

Runway:  06/24   900   grass

NOTES: It would appear, looking at the 2017 picture, that although the airstrip still looks usuable, it had become disused by then? The taxiway to the apron and hangar had certainly disappeared. As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.

There is certainly one aspect that intrigues me. Well maintained private airstrips with a 900 metre long runway are not that common in the UK and are generally intended for use by twin-engine types and/or pocket-rocket types such as Mooneys and Lancairs which normally operate off hard runways. The aircraft in the 1999 detail picture above is clearly not in this category? But what exactly is it?  I cannot tell, the picture still wasn't sharp enough for my ageing eyes.
