Note: All four of these pictures were obtained from Google Earth ©

Location:  Just SE of Gussage All Saints village, 8nm ENE of Blandford Forum town centre, 10nm NW of Bournemouth International Airport and 14nm SW of Salisbury city centre

Period of operation:  1990s (?) to circa 2017/18

Runway:  09/27   280(max)   grass

NOTES:  In the first two pictures the runway is clearly marked '27' at the eastern end. In the 2017 picture, although the runway is still visible - but a bit shorter, the marking isn't. Does this indicate it was but then rarely used - or disused?

No hangar is visible in any of the pictures so presumably the strip was just used for short-term visitors?

As always in this 'Guide' if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
