HANSLOPE: Military Landing Ground       (Aka NEWPORT PAGNELL)

Military users: RFC (Royal Flying Corps) / RAF (Royal Air Force) 

75 [Home Defence] Sqdn   (Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2c, B.E.2e & F.E.2b types)
 

Location: In/near Hanslope, just W of the M1, about 2.5nm E of the A508, roughly 4nm NNW of Wolverton, and about 5nm WNW of Newport Pagnell

Period of operation: 1916 to 1918

 

NOTES: Day and night Landing Ground by 75 Sqdn now situated in MILTON KEYNES.
