Hardington Mandeville

Note: This map only shows the position of Hardington Mandeville village within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact location for the airstrip, this advice will be much appreciated.

HARDINGTON MANDEVILLE: Private airstrip

Operated by: Mr J E Fox?

Location: In/near Hardington Mandeville village, about 1 to 1.5nm S of the A30 and about 3.5nm SW of Yeovil town centre

Period of operation: 1970s only?

NOTES: In the mid 1970s it seems the Piper PA-22-160 Tri-Pacer G-ARAI was the only aircraft based here.
