50 [Home Defence) Sqdn   (Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2s, B.E.12s, Armstrong Whitworth F.K 8s and later Sopwith Camels)

53 [Home Defence] Sqdn   (Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2e) 

 78 Sqdn   (B.E.2s, B.E.12s, Sopwith 1½ Strutters & Sopwith Camels)

112 [Home Defence] Sqdn   (Sopwith Pups initially, replaced by Sopwith Camels)


 

Location: Near Frinsted village 2.5nm NNE of Harrietsham, about 7 miles ESE of Maidstone

Period of operation: 1917 to 1919
 

Site area: 48 acres     549 x 366
