Hawick flying sites

Note: This map shows the position of Burnfoot just N of Hawick town. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact location, this advice will be most welcome.

HAWICK see also NEWTON FARM

HAWICK: Temporary aerodrome?

NOTES: On the 17th July 1933 Sir Alan Cobham’s No.1 Tour displayed in/near Hawick. This must have been a very notable event in those days so does anybody now know the exact location that was used?

Presumably BURNFOOT which is just NE of Harwick town centre?
