Operated by: 2001: Mr J D Bingham

Location: E of A161, just N of East Lound, 12.5nm ESE of Doncaster

Period of operation:  1970s (?) to -

Runways:  2003:  01/19   500x30   grass            09/27   230x25   grass

2012:  01/19   500   grass

NOTES: In a flight guide published in 2001 it warns that runway 09/27 is not available for take-offs & landings! Presumably for use by a local micro-light pilot perhaps? Or more probably for helicopter training - which does take place. By 2008 evidence of this runway seems to disappear.

In the mid 1970s it seems the Beech H.35 Bonanza G-ASJL and Fournier RF.4D G-AVWY were based here.

WHICH COUNTY?
I had initially listed this site as being in YORKSHIRE. However, taking a bit more time over making the listing and consulting both modern and traditional maps, I now believe it is in LINCOLNSHIRE, in the part now known as NORTH LINCOLNSHIRE.
