Note: This map only gives the position of Hedgerley village within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact location, this advice will be most welcome.

HEDGERLEY: Military aerodrome

Military user: US First Army ‘XIX’ Corps 30th Infantry Division, 113th Field Artillery Battalion

Location: Just SE of junction 2 on the M40, about 3nm SE of Beaconsfield and roughly 4.5nm N of Slough town centre

Period of operation: 1944/5 only?

NOTES: It appears that four Piper L-4 Grasshoppers were based here.
