The first three pictures were obtained from Google Earth © and the 2017 picture appears to show the airstrip as by then being disused? The local area view is from my Google Earth © derived database. 


Location:  WSW of Puckeridge on the A10, about 8nm W to WNW of Bishops Stortford town centre

Period of operation:  Unknown? 


Runway:  18/36   600   grass

I have added this simply to illustrate just how many flying sites have been recorded so far, and marked on my database. This said, a great many flying sites listed have not been marked on the database, and no doubt others will be added to this area alone. The UK has the most astonishing aviation history which most people are totally unaware of. This 'Guide' is intended to try, in a small way of course, to record some of this heritage.
