Military user: 32 SLG (RAF)
 

Location: 2.5nm WSW to SW of TATENHILL

Period of operation: 1940? (Some say July 1941) to June 1945 


NOTES: Used for the storage and preparation of aircraft destined for local active RAF aerodromes. 

It is reported that Grumman Hellcats, Armstrong-Whitworth Whitleys and Hawker Typhoons were stored here.
