Note. Picture by the author, but I cannot remember when it was taken - so presumably circa 2009?

Operated by:   Bob and Rita Perkins

Location: 1nm NNE of Wing disused WW2 airfield, 2.5nm W of Leighton Buzzard

Period of operation: From 1985 to -

Runways:  2003:  11/29   500   grass

Circa 2007 to 2011:    11/29   500   grass  (In 2012 listed as 600m)   15/33   295   grass

2017:   11/29   500   grass

2018:   11/29   500   grass              10/28   300   grass

NOTES: Info source AAIB reports EW/G2007/09/1 and EW/G2011/07/36. Runway 15/33 is apparently normally used as an emergency runway, (perhaps in high crosswind conditions on 11/29 for example?), and is much narrower than the 11/29 runway. Obvious from the pictures is that this lovely strip really is a credit to the owner/operator.

I have found this airfield listed as being in BEDFORDSHIRE. It is not.
