Location: Just E of Burton-on-the-Wolds, (S of the B676), about 5nm E of Loughborough town centre
Period of operation: 1990s (?) to -
Runway: 17/35 350 grass
NOTES: The initial source of this information has been a few AAIB reports (EW/G2003/07/32 and EW/G2007/07/15 for examples). There is quite a bit of additional information to be found.
The runway has been given as 480 metres but looking at Google Earth I rather doubt this has ever been the case? It was still the same in 1999.
