Operated by: 1980s to 2000: Hougham Flying Group and/or Mr Mike Barnatt-Mills

Location: 1nm NNW of Hougham, 6.5nm SE of Newark town centre

Period of operation: 1980s (?) to -

Runways: 1990: 18/36   402x20   grass

2000: 18/36   402x20   grass       (light a/c & microlights)

09/27   120x20   grass   (microlights only?)

NOTES: The warning that runway 09/27 is for use by microlights and pretty damned short even for some of these. In fact, is this actually the shortest ever UK runway to be regularly (?) used  by powered aircraft?

Listed as being in NOTTINGHAMSHIRE in one airfield guide.

It must also be mentioned that perhaps unique in the U.K. there are mobile homes and similar constructions spaced out close to, and on the eastern side of the main 18/36 runway.
