Location: Immediately N of the M62 and just SE of Howden town centre. Roughly 20nm NE of Doncaster town centre and about 20nm W of Hull city centre
Period of operation: Unknown? Fairly recent as no sign of it in 2012. Certainly 2019 to -
Runway: 12/30 470 grass
NOTES: We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide' to thank for pointing out this location. Presumably known by another name (?) locally, I have decided to call it 'HOWDEN G.A.' simply to distinguish it from the HOWDEN airship factory and base just to the north.
If anybody can kindly offer advice and information, this will be most welcome. Pictures are, as always, much appreciated.
