Location: On the E side of the SULBY airstrip, just S of the HUSBANDS BOSWORTH gliding site

Period of operation:  Early 2000s(?) to -

NOTES:  The last picture above clearly shows where this site stands in relation to SULBY airstrip. A most unusual if not unique arrangement in the UK. And, as can be clearly seen, there is a grass taxiway between the airstrip and the Air Ambulance apron. Why is this? What purpose might it serve?

Any advice will be most welcome.
