Note: This map only gives a general position for KILCONQUHAR within the UK. If anybody can be kind enough to provide a more exact location for the WW1 airfield, this advice will be much appreciated.


KILCONQUHAR: Military Landing Ground     (Also spelt KILCONQUAR)

Location: In/near Kilconquhar on the B947, about 8nm S to SSW of St Andrews

Period of operation: 1918 to 1919
 

Site area: 45 acres      594 x 457

 

NOTES: Apparently used as a Night Landing Ground only?
