Kildonan

Note: This map only gives the position of Kildonan within the UK.

KILDONAN: Civil aerodrome?

Location: On SE extremity of the Isle of Arran

NOTES: In the 1939 Reading Aero Club airfield guide KILDONAN is listed. However, all attempts so far have failed to discover any more information. If anybody can kindly offer advice on this subject, this will be most welcome.

There is one aspect that worries me - KILDONAN is also a famous aerodrome near to Dublin, in the Irish Republic - so could there be some confusion here?
