Location: E of the B741, between Crosshill and Dailly, roughly 6nm E of Turnhouse town centre

Period of operation: 1970s to ?

Runway:   2004:  03/21   830   grass                   2018:  02/22   830   grass

NOTES:  In the mid 1970s it seems five aircraft were based here: The Klemm L.25-1A G-AAUP, Auster J/1N Alpha G-AIGU, DH82A Tiger Moth G-AREH, Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer 160 G-ARFD and the Cessna 180 G-BDVR of The Missionary Aviation Fellowship.

If anybody can kindly offer more information, this will be much appreciated. (See 'Comment' below).

In late 2019 I looked again at my entry - it needed to be largely re-written. And, in recent years, I have become much better at using Google Earth and the pictures above should prove the point.

Kilkerran is indeed still used. There are some small hangers off the south end of the runway.
