Killeter

Note: This map only shows the position of Killeter village within the UK.

KILLETER: Private airstrip

Location: In/near Killeter village which is roughly 4.5nm SW of Castlederg

NOTES: Info source AAIB report EW/G2011/05/01.

A good look at Google Earth failed to find a defined airstrip, but one is not required of course. There are several apparently suitable fields in the area and the AAIB report mentions a second aircraft using the site. This might well have been just a casual one-off visit?

If anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be most welcome.
