Kinghorn

Note: This map only gives the position of Kinghorn within the UK. If, today, somebody knows of a record of an aeroplane landing here in 1911, I would very much like to hear of it. And, if a location can be provided this would be of great interest and much appreciated.

KINGHORN: Possible ‘one-off’ flying site?

Location: In/near Kinghorn which is roughly 3nm SSW of the centre of Kirkcaldy

NOTES: See PORTOBELLO (LOTHIAN) for a short discussion on this possibility in late August 1911.
