Military users: RFC/RAF  (Royal Flying Corps, possibly Royal Air Force)

38 [Home Defence] Sqdn   (Royal Aircraft Factory BE.2 and FE.2 types)
 

Pleasure flights after WW1: Vickers Ltd
 

Location: 4.5nm S of Birmingham city centre

Period of operation: Military: 1916 to 1918.    Later civil during 1919 only?

 

NOTES: Located in WORCESTERSHIRE during period of operation. Used by 38 (HD) Sqdn as both a night and a day Landing Ground.
