Note: This map only gives the position of Kingweston village within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide more information, this will be much appreciated.


KINGWESTON: Private airstrip
 

Location: In/near Kingweston just N of the B3153, about 5nm S to SSE of Glastobury and 8nm N to NNW of Yeovil

Period of operation: 1970s only?

 

NOTES: In the mid 1970s it seems three aircraft were based here; D.H.82A Tiger Moth G-ANEW, Beagle D5/180 Husky G-AVSR and Practavia Pilot Sprite 150 G-BALY.
