Kinkell Bridge

Note: This map only shows the position of Kinkell Bridge, which is barely a village it seems.

KINKELL BRIDGE: Private airstrip?

NOTES: On at least one modern road map an airfield is marked on the B8062 just SW of Kinkell Bridge about 5nm SE of Crieff. However, this is STRATHALLAN which is quite well known. So, did another airstrip exist in this area, known as KINKELL BRIDGE?

A look at Google Earth in 2016 appears to show several potential sites for an airstrip, but nothing definite. It is of course quite common to find two, and sometimes even three private airstrips in close proximity to each other.
