Note:  Several years ago I made this comment: "To be frank I doubt I have ever found any other listing to be such a nightmare to pin down. Information is plentiful, but a lot of it is conflicting - by quite a wide margin. If anybody can kindly offer advice to help clear this up, it will be much appreciated."

In April 2021, Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', offered his advice. So now it appears to be pinned down.

Location: Just N of Spittal, E of the B733, about 5nm WNW to NW of Wigtown and about 18.5nm E of Stranraer town centre

Period of operation:  Early 2000s (?) to -
 

Runway: 16/34   485   grass
