Kirkgunzeon

Note: This map only gives the location for Kirkgunzeon village within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide the exact position for this gliding site, this advice will be most welcome.

KIRKGUNZEON: Gliding site

NOTES: Found listed in 1975, it is presumably pretty close to Kirkgunzeon which is N of the A711 about 8nm SW of Dumfries. Is anything else known?

Kirkgunzeon in the South is now Falgunzeon. Dumfries and District Gliding Club moved a couple of miles South in the 70s.. Exact co-ordinates if you Google "Dumfries and District Gliding Club".
