Kirkwall Bay


Note: This map only shows the position of Kirkwall Bay within the UK, My attempts to pinpoint the exact location have all failed, so, if anybody can kindly offer advice, this will be much appreciated.



KIRKWALL BAY: Seaplane Station
 

Military user: RNAS but possibly also RAF?
 

Location: N of Kirkwall

Period of operation: Apparently from 1913 but if RAF involvement is confirmed this indicates operation until 1918 or 1919 at least.
