Location:  Just W of the A823, about 4.5nm NNW of Dunfermline town centre

Period of operation:  Possibly since the 1970s?

NOTES:  We have Mr Graham Frost, a great friend of this 'Guide', to thank for drawing our attention to this location.

Although it appears regularly used by visiting helicopters, and listed in at least a couple of helicopter guides, the only evidence of a marked helipad was around 2006. See picture above.

However, Graham has also found a record of a Katana landing here, on the main straight, involving going under the bridge when landing, and presumably taking off (?), to promote a joint gift voucher scheme.

As always in this 'Guide', if anybody can kindly offer advice and information this will be most welcome. Plus of course, pictures are always much appreciated.
