Location: Roughly 4.5nm SE of Oswestry town centre

Period of operation:  1980s (?) to -

Runway:  10/28   670   grass

Note:  In 2018, perhaps:   09/27   685   grass 


NOTES: At one point, and perhaps this is still the case (?) this airstrip is/was used by helicopters on training exercises from RAF SHAWBURY during weekdays.

I may well be mistaken, (can anybody advise?), but I think this arrangement is quite unusual.
