Lark Engine Farm

Note: This map only gives a rough location within the UK. See notes below.

LARK ENGINE FARM: Private airstrip

Operated by: 2001: Mr Clinton Judd

Location: ENE of Prickwillow village, 4.5nm ENE of Ely

Period of operation: 2000s only?

Runway: 06/24   600x9   grass

NOTES: A look at the area on Google Earth, (image date 2008), appears to show no obvious airstrip in this vicinity. Although, this said, there is what looks like a strip orientated 06/24 roughly three fields to the E of Lark Engine Farm. This however only measures 470 metres. If anybody can kindly of advice, this will be most welcome.

Strip is still very much active (2018.) Details can be found the likes of Lockyear's. Strip length is approx. 500m and the owner, Clint Judd, is very welcoming.
