Note: This map only gives the position of Lavendon village within the UK. If anybody can kindly provide a more exact location for this airfield, this will be much appreciated.

LAVENDON: Military Landing Ground

Military user: RFC (Royal Flying Corps)

75 [Home Defence] Sqdn (Royal Aircraft Factory B.E.2c, B.E.2e and later possibly F.E.2b)

Location: In/near Lavendon on the A428, about 8nm WNW of Bedford and roughly 7nm NNE of Newport Pagnell

Period of operation: 1916 to 1918

NOTES: Used as both a day and night Landing Ground by 75 Sqdn.

Now located in MILTON KEYNES it seems?
