Location:  Lochgilphead is on the W side of Loch Fyne, about 45 nm WNW of Glasgow city centre 



NOTES:  I have Mr Graham Frost to thank for pointing out these two sites. The history of aviation around Scotland, especially during the 1930s is a study in itself, but since the 1960s helicopter operations have transformed the overall picture to a very large degree. The sheer variety of helicopter operations, civil and military, almost defy definition - they perform so many differing tasks.
