Lochmaddy flying boat arrival


Notes: This map only gives the position of Lochmaddy within the UK. If anybody could kindly provide a more exact location for where it was moored, this will be be much appreciated.



LOCHMADDY: Temporary sea landing destination
 

NOTES: It would appear the Saro Cloud G-ABXW was probably the first aeroplane to land at

Lochmaddy, it making a night-stop here on the 17th September 1935 during an exploratory

flight. See MALLAIG for extra info.
